The desire for a balanced lifestyle drove me to leave the corporate world and take control of how I spend my time. I knew I could apply the skills and expertise gained in 17 years of project management and learning & development in new ways. I became self-employed in 2014 and find it insightful and rewarding to work with a wide range of SMEs. As my business continues to evolve, I encounter plenty of opportunities for personal development.

To adjust from being part of a large team to remote working, I became an active member of local business networks and forums. This has enabled me to build a network of local contacts, trusted associates and loyal clients. As a member of various local networking groups including Berkhamsted Chamber, Tring Business Mart and Buckingham Business First, it rarely feels as though I am working in isolation.
